Internship Financial Assistance

Internship Financial Assistance

On May 7, 2018, the College received notification of a $1.125 million gift from the estate of Albert H. Brunner, a friend of the College and former member of First Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In the spirit of Mr. Brunner's wishes, Eckerd College Board of Trustees approved the creation of the Albert H. Brunner Endowed Internship Award to support students in career development opportunities available through internships.

Students may apply for up to $3,500 to support an internship of academic merit that will also be submitted for course credit. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the dean of faculty on the basis of strength of applicant and academic implications of the internship.

  • Applications for Winter Term and Spring must be completed by November 1, 2019. The deadline for Summer Session and Fall Semester is April 1, 2020.
