New this Fall in the Career & Life Design Lab:
Scholarship, Fellowship & Academic Opportunity Advising offers Group Advising Lab Hours at the Career Center
This fall, Scholarship, Fellowship, and Academic Opportunity Advising is adding a group advising model, co-sponsored with the Career Center, so we can meet with more students and make sure everyone gets the depth of support they need. Instead of relying solely on individual appointments, we're opening up drop-in lab hours at the Career Center Career and Life Design Lab:
Tuesdays 3:00–4:30 PM
Wednesdays 4:00–5:00 PM
Fridays 10:00–11:00 AM
During these sessions, students can work alongside Dean Kat Robinson and visiting faculty and alongside each other on finding and selecting the right opportunities, working through applications, getting feedback on writing, and thinking through bigger life and career plans. The group setting means more regular access to advising, more perspectives in the room, and a chance to learn from questions other students are asking too. No need to wait for a one-on-one slot, just stop by during lab hours.
