Dwayne started at Eckerd in November 2025 and brings years of experience in liberal arts career education. A nationally recognized leader in career education, experiential learning, early career talent acquisition, and workforce development, he has a passion for transforming futures and leads the College's strategy for career education and readiness and industry relations.
Maddy returned to the Eckerd Career Center in March 2022. A Class of 2021 alumna, she serves as the office’s primary liaison to alumni and industry professionals, actively expanding internship, job, and mentorship opportunities for Eckerd students and recent graduates, as well as approving academic and non-academic internships. In addition to building professional connections, she coordinates recruitment and networking events, and manages programs such as Career Mentors, Eckerd Shadow Days, and Networking Nights
Taylor started in the Eckerd Career Center in May 2026. She brings years of experience in career advising and education, employer relations, and internship development. At Eckerd, she supervises career advising and leads a portfolio of career education programs in collaboration with faculty that prepare our students for their futures.
Angelina joined the Career Center team in October 2025. She brings a foundation in Public Relations and a strong commitment to student success to her role as Career Advisor. She works with students to identify career goals, secure internships, and translate academic experiences into professional confidence. Her prior work at Walt Disney World and her creation of The Guides, a career mentorship community, reflect her dedication to helping others grow through connection, curiosity, and courage.

The Career and Life Design Lab is a walk-in-friendly, creative space designed to give you flexibility in how you work on your career and life goals. Stop by to work independently or connect with a Career Advisor or Student Career Assistant in the lab for guidance along the way. You can visit the Career and Life Design Lab to work on anything career or future-related without an appointment. It is open to all students and alumni.
