Internship Housing

Please note that all information below is based off of Summer 2025. All dates, prices, and programs are subject to change until finalized.

Eckerd Sponsored Housing (Internships)

All Eckerd College students who are planning to complete an academic internship in the local Tampa Bay area with an off-campus organization may request sponsored on-campus housing.

SUMMER 2025 PROGRAM DETAILS

Amount: Students who are awarded will only pay a maintenance fee (Summer 2025: $250)

Housing Availability: Tuesday, May 27 - Saturday, July 19 (additional dates may be requested and could incur a fee)

Residence Halls: West Lodge & Sigma Triple (additional halls may be available for a fee)

Eligibility: Students must participate in a legitimate and rigorous off-campus internship in the Tampa Bay area

HOW TO APPLY

Review and complete the Spring Academic Internship Fund (AIF) application. Internship offers do not need to be finalized in order to request sponsored housing.
If awarded sponsored housing, complete the Summer Housing application when it becomes available.

Enrolled in Summer Course, Research, or Working

Students who are participating in a summer course, research, or working on campus can apply for the daily rate during the summer.

Dates: Tuesday, May 27 - Saturday, July 19.

Summer School Daily Housing Costs:

Sigma/West Lodge Triple: $23 *request for double or single is an additional cost based on availability

Iota Double: $36

Iota Single: $40

Omega Double: $39

Omega Single: $43

Flat Rate

Students who need summer housing but will not participate in any Eckerd-affiliated programs or classes will pay a flat rate to rent a room.

Dates: Tuesday, May 27 - Saturday, July 19.

Sigma/West Lodge Triple: $2,600

Sigma/West Lodge Double: $3,100

Sigma/West Lodge Single: $3,625

Iota Double: $2,600

Iota Single: $3,100

Omega Double: $3,100
